Crafted
of sturdy steel and overlaid with silver plating, this glass
and metal infuser is a keeper. While most infusers are thought
of as something to brew tea in, the fact is they can have dual
purposes and serve as a wonderful cold
brewer for coffee.
This comes
with a glass infuser and a silver mesh infuser. The glass infuser
should be used for teas and the silver mesh infuser added in
when it is used for coffee.
When brewing
tea please follow the directions as noted, some teas do not
require boiling water but rather steaming water.
Cold brewing
requires cold water and for the coffee to steep at least 10-12
hours. If you want to make an espresso strength coffee look
at the Infuser with a warmer.
This is
the same brewing tool that was commissioned by the Crossing
Stone Cafe and is used daily to cold brew the rich robust coffees
that are becoming the talk of RhyDin.
