Welcome!

The Crossing Stone isn't your everyday place. Once a prominent Hotel and private theater it catered to the elite. It was also named something else, the new name simply came about as it sits on the corner of Crossing Avenue and Stone Street.

Things have changed. While still one of the nicest buildings in a regenerating neighborhood, the Crossing Stone is no longer that grand Hotel of old. Through the combined efforts of the McClain sisters and Countess Du Maurier the Crossing Stone has taken on a new life in the form of downstairs offices, a cafe and then flats on the second and third floors.

The theater has been reconstructed completely inside and is gearing up to host new performances. A few small shops will be added in. In fact the Countess Du Maurier has claimed the second floor of the theater as her own and is converting that to a library and bookshop.

Come in and browse! Stay a while. Shop, eat and enjoy. Then make the Crossing Stone your home. We promise you will love it here.
